Project Description

Get your little one loving the water in no time! From the age of 10 months, your baby can join our Duck baby swim class at JUMP! Swim Schools in Singapore. In this class you can expect your baby to build their confidence and continue developing and fine-tuning their motor skills.

Is your little one new to the water? Our Duck class will condition your baby to accept water and be comfortable with water on and around their face. We also work on their mobility and buoyancy skills through kicking, paddling and floating.

We continually encourage the babies to swim independently as much as possible so when it is time to advance to the next level, they are well and truly ready!

What is a Duck?

  • Babies aged between 10-24 months

  • Group classes of 4 to 6 with their parents in each and every lesson

  • Perfect bonding sessions between bub and Mum or Dad!

  • No prior skills needed

What happens in a Duck babies class?

  • Plenty of fun melodies to make learning to swim exciting for you and your little one
  • Duck baby lessons are all about building confidence and feeling comfortable and relaxed in the water
  • Our expert instructors will work with you to get your little one paddling, kicking and floating in the water
  • Your baby will learn how to hold their breath for longer underwater through exciting activities
  • Strengthening your baby’s buoyancy skills so they can float on their back with help from Mum or Dad
  • We teach them kicking and paddling skills as your child grows and becomes more mobile
By the time your baby turns 24 months, our expert instructors will have taught them how to kick their legs when submerged as well as float on their backs with assistance. Depending on the confidence of your little one, they will graduate to either our advanced swimming baby Goldfish class (1-2 years) or our Tadpole class (2-3 years).
